Quasar Management Team

Brendan McGinty, Quasar President, has nearly 30 years of experience in the design and development of e-learning and corporate communications. He has managed teams for 20 years, delivering training and education around the world. Along with Quasar, Brendan is President of Campaign Advisory Corporation, a political consulting company.

Brendan was previously President & CEO of Leo Media, Inc., a business consulting firm; Principal in HMM Development LLC, a real estate investment company; Vice President of NovaNET Learning, Inc. (now part of Pearson Digital Learning), an education and communications network; and Manager of Multimedia Services for General Physics Corporation, a training consulting firm.

Brendan co-authored 222 Ways to Entrepreneurial Success, was featured in Fundamentals of Management (Pearson-Prentice Hall), and has many publications and presentations to his credit. He is a Member of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD); Organization of American Historians (OAH); Champaign County, IL Board; Champaign County Economic Development Corp., Urbana, IL Rotary Club; and Life Member of the University of Illinois Alumni Association. Brendan holds a BA in liberal arts from the University of Illinois, and an AS in Elementary Education from Parkland College.

Laura Bice, Quasar Marketing Manager, has over 15 years of experience in account management, creative planning, marketing, and sales/advertising development. Laura consulted with Quasar prior to joining the company, and since that time has been responsible for developing a variety of marketing strategies for organizations.  Laura originated a DVD educational tool serving incoming University of Illinois freshman as a bus riding orientation for the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District. She also developed a media plan in support for two community events - the Savoy Orchard Days festival and the Champaign County Fair.  Laura oversees all marketing, advertising and media related projects for our Quasar clients.

Prior to joining Quasar, Laura was Account Manager for Illini Radio Group; Account Executive for CableRep Advertising, a national cable advertising company; Area Sales Executive for Cellular One; and Regional Sales Manager for Premiere Page, a national telecommunications company.  Laura holds a BS in communications from the University of Illinois.

Erich Adickes, Quasar Project Manager, has over 10 years of experience in design and development of web applications and IT. SInce joining Quasar, Erich has provided project management and web design and maintenance support for several clients. He also has been overseeing the development of a large, new operator web-based training program for the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District.

Prior to joining Quasar, Erich was Assistant Director for Computing Information at the Krannert Center.for the Performing Arts at the University of Illinois. Erich holds an MS in technology from Eastern Illinois University and a BA in liberal arts from Elmhurst College.
